NBA Finals Game 3 Pick: Spurs vs Heat Pick ATS - 6/10/14

NBA Playoff Record: 43-39-1 ATS

NHL Playoff Record: 4-1-1

MLB Record: 4-7

WNBA: 3-3 ATS/Totals

The World Cup is just around the corner, so if you like breath-taking action without much scoring for forty-five minutes at a time, then you're going to love the next month of sports. If you start to miss the unbearable flopping we've been seeing the NBA playoffs, don't worry - soccer players have even better acting teachers.

        "Faker! I'll kill you."

If you want to try to win $2,000 with 1Vice's World Cup Contest, I guarantee it will make it all even more interesting than a Clayton Kershaw Madison Bumgarner pitching duel. Except for the ties and the lack of serious hatred. Nonetheless, click on the link to the right, follow the directions to enter the contest and find yourself $2,000 richer in July. Join the fun. I might not be doing write-ups, but thanks to our Canadian soccer guru, I'll be posting picks all along the way.

NBA

San Antonio Spurs @ MIAMI HEAT UNDER 198.5: We're staying away from a side here. Chances are Miami gets the straight up win, but the Spurs might make enough adjustments to keep things close. I'd really like to see Eric Spoelstra coach a regular team, because to be honest I watch him waving his hands around on the sideline, saying things through his giant teeth, and I still see Pat Riley puppet more than uber-genius coach. Gregg Popavich, on the other hand - that's serious, sustained success. Go Spurs, but take the UNDER.

"Jazz hands, everyone. Jazz hands."

Stat of the Night

NBA | SAN ANTONIO at MIAMI
Play Under – Road teams where the total is between 190 and 199.5 points well rested team – playing 4 or less games in 10 days, a good team (60% to 75%) playing a team with a winning record
148-90 since 1997. ( 62.2% | 49.0 units )

MLB: Let's get those numbers up a bit

SEATTLE MARINERS (-145) over New York Yankees: It was supposed to be Iwakuma vs Tanaka, but it looks like Nuno's taking the hill for NY and he's  0-2, 6.18 in his last five starts. It's a little pricey, but we'll take it.

St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 (+125) over TAMPA BAY RAYS: The Rays have been awful and Ordizzi has been worse, posting 0-3, 6.16 in his last four starts. We'll roll with Wainwright to shut down the anemic offense while the Cards do enough to win by 2+.

Cleveland Indians @ KANSAS CITY ROYALS Under 8: Kluber has been hot for the Indians, Vargas has been consistent for the Royals, and KC has gone UNDER 5-2-1 in their last 8. We'll take the trend.

May the Spreads Be With You,

Vinny and Marco
